This role is for an experienced IT professional who will provide thought leadership of the IT systems and capabilities required within Aquascot to meet the business expectations of leading processor. The partner will work as part of the team within our IT Forum ( which is accountable for our IT direction and activity), and provide directional IT (data, business process, systems, hardward) strategy for the business. They will interact with all departments and teams within the business and help oversee the directional strategy from mobile devices right through to cloud-based systems. They will own the development of consistent business process automation within the IT systems and provide solutions when issues or capabilities are required to be resolved.
Data is increasingly important to our business so this partner will understand IT development and how to leverage that to add value to Aquascot, use of AI, system automation, and data integrations will be key deliverables of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership for the selection and procurement for all systems solutions in partnership with the IT team, IT Forum and business leadership. This includes the relationships with the systems providers.
* Ownership of the development of the IT road map to ensure all systems are secure and fit for use going into the future. This includes framing possible issues ahead of time and proposing
* Provide support for all systems when issues occur including out of hours support if required.
* Will lead the IT forum to drive all priorities and own IT budget for the business.
* Understands and has experience in both IT system architecture, software and network hardware eg ethernet routers, servers etc.
* Has supported users in Microsoft applications and use of MS Office applications, MS Teams and able to support users in their use of these systems.
* High level of communication skills both written and verbal, able to influence senior leaders and directors.
* High level of trust building and integrity at all levels within a business.
* Good knowledge of business systems and extracting the value for the business.
* Capable of recognising good when they see it, problem solver and enjoys difficult challenges.
* Practical and hands on enjoying the working environment of manufacturing time based business.

* Commercial Systems at play here are QPulse, Aptean MES, Sage, MS365, MS Teams, Sharepoint, Onedrive.
* Home built systems Pieces – sales order processing and invoicing
* EDI links to our core customer.
* Power BI for dashboard data review and monitoring.
Key criteria essential for the role
* Qualification 1 – Holds formal IT qualifications at higher education level either degree or national diploma level appropriate for the role
* Qualification 2 – Held similar IT role for at least 5 years with a track record of delivery of support and project roll outs.
* Qualification 3 – We are a Microsoft 365/Teams based company so formal training in the use of these solutions will be required. (Sharepoint/Onedrive)
* Qualification 4 – fully appreciation of cloud based systems, software as a service business models
* Qualification 5 – has experience in the procurement, specification and selection of IT systems
Key preferred experience
* Preferred 1 - Experience in manufacturing environment, benefit if in a fresh food production.
* Preferred 2 – Team Leadership experience or ready now to take on leadership in their career progressing
* Preferred 3 – Has awareness of business finances and operations through formal training or previous role experience
* Preferred 4 – Has a qualification in data management and or past experience in the field (single point of truth, internet of things, reporting tools like Power BI
* Preferred 5 – Have knowledge of the use of AI to improve efficiency in administration of business processes and perhaps manufacturing processing and data analysis.
