CNC Turner - Setter / Operator
Location: Birmingham, B16
Rate: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:45-16:45, Fri 07:45-12:45
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner - Setter / Operator to join a long-standing business and play a key role in their precision engineering team. You will be working with high-end products, where quality and attention to detail are paramount.
Your day-to-day will involve:
_ Setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Nakamura and Mazak CNC lathes
_ Adjusting tooling offsets for accurate machining and finishes
_ Editing/modifying CNC programs when required to optimise production
_ Performing finishing operations on traditional machinery where needed
_ Carrying out quality checks to ensure all components meet customer specifications
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an engineer with:
_ 3+ years' CNC turning experience (setting and operating)
_ Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
_ Confidence in editing and modifying programs
_ A good eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
_ A professional attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
