The Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital-first, data-led smart regulator by delivering a secure, agile and cost-effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions, transparency and operational efficiency.
Sitting within DTI, the Digital Intelligence Solutions team deliver a Digital Unified Intelligence Environment (DUIE) to surface insights for action through tools, dashboards and bespoke analysis.
Role responsibilities
4. Guide the delivery and enhancement of the departments business dashboards, supporting directorates such as Supervision, Authorisations and strategic programmes
5. Oversee the FCA’s social media listening tool and vendor relationship, ensuring it is used effectively to generate actionable insights
6. Act as the Data Steward for consumer and social media data, managing contracts, ensuring compliant and responsible usage and upholding FCA governance standards
7. Drive innovation through SOCMINT, designing new analytical products, coordinating communications initiatives, and expanding the reach of consumer insight across the organisation
8. Support, mentor and develop a team of Senior Analysts, fostering professional growth through coaching, training and career development opportunities
9. Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, translating complex data into clear insights, engaging stakeholders across the organisation and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the Digital Intelligence Solutions department
Skills required
Minimum:
10. Prior experience working with analytics or insights from consumer, social, or market sources, including prior exposure to SOCMINT and vendor tools
11. Hands on experience using dashboards and visualisation tools Tableau) to present insights clearly to business users
12. Experience in managing a team, including coaching, training and mentoring analysts to develop their skills
