Position:
Commercial Claims Fraud Investigator – Field based
The role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Investigations, as part of our Commercial Investigations team, we promote best practice for the detection and containment of fraud, working exclusively on commercial insurance claims.
As a Commercial Claims Fraud Investigator, you will conduct site visits across the North West and can work from home when you're not on site. Supported by the Fraud Data & Insight Team and adjusting colleagues, you will undertake screening and investigation of commercial claims and liaise with clients and their legal advisers.
Your reputation in the investigation arena will likely attract direct work from clients, and you will be responsible for growing work from all these sources. You will be accountable for managing a caseload of high and lower value claims while staying updated on current legislation and codes of practice related to insurance investigations. You’ll need to be self-motivated and flexible to meet client and colleague needs.

You will have/will be:
* ACII/ACILA qualified or progressing towards it (desirable but not mandatory)
* Knowledge of civil and criminal law related to insurance and claims handling
* Experience as a Commercial Investigator
* Proficiency in statement taking and interviewing
* Inquisitive and methodical work approach
* Courteous but firm communication skills
* Self-motivated with a passion for fraud investigation
* Willing to travel regionally
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Full UK driving license
* Multilingual skills are a plus
