About The Role
Location: Partick. Working hours: 24 hours per week – 2 x 12 hour dayshift pattern. Hourly rate: £13.45.
Responsibilities
As a Personal Assistant (Support Worker) you will support individuals with learning disabilities and other support requirements, providing personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support and expanding their social networks. You will work collaboratively within a bespoke team to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of each person are met.
Requirements
* No prior care experience required – we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
* Commitment, dedication and desire to support individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
* Desired qualities: communication skills, empathy, ability to think on your feet.
* Legal requirement to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
* Full funding of SVQ Health and Social Care qualifications, required for SSSC registration.
