Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure-Focused)
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)
Salary: £50, - £55, Paid Certifications 10% Training Time

We're working with a forward-thinking business that's currently undergoing a full on-prem to Azure cloud migration, creating the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be hands-on with transformation projects while still supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations.
This is a small, close-knit IT environment, so you'll have a genuine voice in technical decisions, architecture, and improvement initiatives - not just a ticket queue.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Supporting and delivering the ongoing on-prem to Azure migration, including design, deployment, and optimisation
2. Managing hybrid environments across Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, M, and Active Directory
3. Implementing and maintaining modern cloud solutions (automation, monitoring, security, and networking)
4. Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across both on-prem and cloud
5. Working closely with the IT leadership team to define and deliver new infrastructure projects
6. Keeping systems current with cutting-edge technologies and best practices
What We're Looking For
7. Around 5 years' experience across infrastructure engineering (cloud and on-prem)
8. Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure - IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and governance
9. Strong background with Windows Server, M, Intune, Active Directory/Azure AD, and PowerShell scripting
10. Exposure to virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup/disaster recovery tools
11. Someone who's proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in a small IT team
