Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting (ideally).
* Endoscopy experience may be advantageous but is not essential as training and competency assessment are provided.
* Active UK NMC Registration is required.
* Ability to work flexibly across Trust locations when service demands require it.
Team and roles
The post holder will have an important role in this large and dynamic team that includes a team of Nurse Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper GI Surgical Consultants and a large nursing and HCSW team.

Poole Hospital Endoscopy Unit consists of 3 procedure rooms. Royal Bournemouth Hospital has 3 procedure rooms and Wimborne has 1 procedure room. Across sites we provide diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures, respiratory procedures like bronchoscopy, EBUS and thoracoscopy. We also do complex procedures including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and the Bowel cancer screen programme.
