Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to provide support both within the home and in the local community.
PA Support for a friendly lady who has had a stroke. Due to the stroke the individual is paralysed on the left side of her body; she is still independent but requires some support in some aspects of daily living.
Roles and Responsibilities
This is a varied and rewarding role where the level and type of support will change depending on the individual’s needs. On some days, you will provide support within the home, assisting with household tasks such as hoovering, folding laundry, and dusting. On other occasions, you will support the individual to attend hospital or rehabilitation appointments. There will also be days where you will support the individual out in the community, which may include going shopping together or enjoying social activities such as going out for a coffee. The individual is independent but may need support with some aspects of personal care.
Specific Requirements
The individual requires a fully clean driving licence as she has a Motability car.
Hours and Hourly Rate
7 hours per week; support will be required on a Tuesday and Thursday with flexibility on times. £13 per hour for an employed PA; £15.60 for a self‑employed PA.
