Sheridan Maine is seeking a a Tax Senior to join a well-established accounting firm in Kent. This is a great opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking to advance their career in a supportive environment.
You will manage client tax compliance and advisory work, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities as Tax Senior:
1. Prepare and review corporation tax returns and computations.
2. Advise clients on various tax matters including compliance and planning.
3. Liaise with HMRC and other tax authorities as necessary.
4. Support junior team members with their workload and development.
5. Keep up to date with tax legislation and best practices.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Assist with ad hoc projects and tax planning assignments.
The successful Tax Senior must possess:
8. Previous experience in a tax compliance and advisory role.
9. Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax.
10. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Good communication and client management skills.
12. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
13. Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
14. 2+ years of experience in a UK practice.
