Male Support Worker
60 per hour
Our Support Workers provide a person centred approach in providing quality support, which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to everyone's needs.
The role of a Support Worker is integral to the quality of support provision and can be rewarding and inspiring. You will support people to identify and work towards meaningful outcomes and to participate in their community and develop new and maintain existing relationships.
This role will involve supporting a gentleman, offering care and support around food shopping, meal preparation and promoting a healthy well-balanced diet. He will also require support with aspects of personal care, accessing the community and social inclusion. You may be asked to work between other services that we provide care and support to across West Lothian.
An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role.
Shift Pattern:
5 days a week Monday-Friday (usually between the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm)
Please note we would still require a degree flexibility from candidates as this may be moved around to deliver person centered care and support to best serve the individual.
A minimum of 28-days paid holiday a year, including bank holidays (pro-rata for part time staff)
