About The Role
As a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One as a Care Home Manager offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
In this role, you will be responsible for the well-being of our Residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team, providing clinical guidance and training to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the care home. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans, and monitoring practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies, and legislation. You will promote Residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care and continuous improvement.
The position provides an opportunity to lead through effective management and leadership. You will ensure the presence of the best staff to deliver empathetic service, champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan, and conduct quality assurance to exceed regulatory standards—all with kindness at the core.
We seek a care home experienced Registered Nurse with a current PIN on the NMC register. Ideally, you will have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and risk assessment skills are essential. Above all, you should communicate with consideration and kindness in every interaction.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary are required.
