In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for IT queries, helping colleagues and customers with a wide range of technical issues.
* Log, track and resolve support requests, ensuring everything is recorded and followed up properly.
* Troubleshoot problems and learn how to identify and fix issues quickly, with support from experienced team members.
* Get hands-on with industry-standard tools for hosting, system management and IT support.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every interaction is clear, friendly and professional.
* Build a strong foundation for your career with practical, real-world IT experience while earning as you learn.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
* £15,000 per annum.
* Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch).
* 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.

Qualifications & Desired Qualities
* Good understanding of IT hardware and software.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* Good communication skills both written and spoken.
* Confidence to work with colleagues across all departments.
* Troubleshooting mindset.
* Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
