POST: Trust IT Technician
LOCATION: Schools across the Trust
GRADE: Band D SCP 9-17
SALARY: £27,255 - £31,022 per annum
HOURS: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented individual with an inquisitive nature and excellent attention to detail to join our IT Support Team working across our schools based in the Black Country.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experience ICT Technician to provide technical support and expertise across our Trust.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of at least two years' experience in the IT sector,
A sound working knowledge and understanding of:
* Hardware repairs of laptops / tablets
* Installation of Microsoft Windows on standalone devices and networked PC's
* Good understanding of Office 365 – Outlook, OneDrive for Business, Exchange, Teams and Sharepoint Online.
* Installation of Microsoft Office Suite
* Setup of computer hardware, software and systems
* Setup of network printers, installation of software locally & through package allocation
* Computer troubleshooting from diagnostics to backup of data to upgrade or rebuild
* Computer viruses and security
* Basic Microsoft Azure Active Directory, users and permissions knowledge
Applicants must have a flexible customer-focused approach to their work and be able to travel and transfer equipment between schools as and when required.
