Lead Support Worker
Surrey - Guildford
Permanent, Part Time (17hpw), Rota Working (Monday to Sunday between 7am & 7pm)
Pay £13.21 per hour (salary £25,838 per annum - pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known as Coordinator)
* Meeting with customers to create support plans and determine their support needs (customers are single homeless men with complex needs)
* Supporting customers with daily activities such as preparing meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and moving into independent accommodation
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews
* Having informal chats and catch-ups. There’s no rushing here, allowing time to collaborate with colleagues
* Facilitating property maintenance and health & safety checks

You bring
* Passion to support customers to live their best lives, working collaboratively with attention to detail
* Experience creating person-centred support plans and working as part of a team to achieve customer goals
* Experience coordinating and assessing customer referrals
* The ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and be resilient

Job details
* We offer flexibility to support colleagues, but must meet customer needs, which may require adjusting start or finish times occasionally
* Work on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday, 7am to 7pm, including Bank Holidays and Christmas
* Must be able to use technology for support plans, online learning, and collaboration
* An Enhanced DBS check is required; we pay for this
Due to current sponsorship limitations, we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role. This is under regular review.
