Job Opportunity: Support Worker in Penzance
Are you experienced in care or looking for a new challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to work independently while promoting the independence of a gentleman we support.
You will be supporting a 64-year-old male with learning disabilities and autism. He enjoys watching people, is very playful once you get to know him, and appreciates a good joke. He has a pet rabbit named Popeye, who is his pride and joy. He loves sports like football and rugby, and enjoys visiting Penzance arcades to play on the 2p machines.
The ideal candidate should have experience in Positive Behaviour Support Practices and person-led approaches.

We are seeking someone trustworthy, with integrity, capable of providing meaningful support and building a trusting, long-lasting rapport with the gentleman in Penzance. The role can be challenging at times, especially as it involves lone working, but it also offers inspiring moments where you can genuinely say, 'I did that.'
