Operations Business Analyst/ Project Management (varied projects & multi-asset classes i.e. ETD’s, FX, OTC Derivatives etc)
Martis Search are partnering with a City of London based, but global Trading institution to hire a permanent “Operations Business Analyst/ Project Management.”
This exciting role based on a Trading Floor (sitting next to multiple Sales and Trading teams) and works within a small “Operations Project Management” team. The role will report into a senior Operations Manager (Project Management), so you will learn so much from them.
Our client is looking for someone who is either:
* From a Banking Operations background i.e. Trade Support, Settlements, Corporate Actions etc, ideally with some product knowledge background such as FX, Futures & Options (ETD’s), Commodities, OTC Derivatives etc and who has some exposure to working within projects, change management (alongside your BAU day-to-day role) and who is eager for a career as a “Business Analyst”, or “Project Management”, or “Change Management.”
Or
* Currently working as a “Business Analyst” within ideally Operations, or potentially Compliance and who is looking for their next Business Analyst role.
The role covers a vast array of projects that last between 2-6-months and working with internal stakeholders such as Trading teams, different Operations teams, senior Managers as well as external system providers and also Consultancy company’s/ Auditors.
You will regularly attending meetings with the Head of Project Management. This means you must have exemplary communication skills, both verbally and in written form; be confident and mature in dealing with senior management. The beauty of the role is that you will be exposed to multi-asset classes, Trading desks, different regulations, integrating companies, new system implementation to name but a few.

The department is mainly 5-days per week in the office, but there is flexibility to work-from-home x 1-day per week.

Salary
£50,000 k pa - £60,000 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus good bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
