to help amplify our voice across digital channels. You'll manage social media content that builds our brand visibility and community, while also driving the growth of our
Leadership Unfiltered
podcast. From planning posts and optimising YouTube uploads to experimenting with new platforms and analysing performance data, your work will make sure our message cuts through and connects.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media (The Equal Group)
* Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and emerging platforms such as TikTok.
* Monitor trends, hashtags, and industry conversations to keep content relevant and impactful.
* Engage with followers, influencers, and communities to strengthen our online presence.
* Incorporate basic SEO practices into content and captions to increase visibility.
* Track performance metrics and adjust promotion strategies for maximum impact.
Podcast (Leadership Unfiltered)
* Create and schedule 3–5 LinkedIn posts per episode (clips, quote graphics, discussion prompts, behind-the-scenes).
* Optimise YouTube uploads with strong titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
* Repurpose podcast content into short-form videos, carousels, and shareable graphics.
* Research and recommend new channels and communities (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels) to expand audience reach.
* Track performance metrics and adjust promotion strategies for maximum impact.
* Manage the podcast webpage and (potentially) create SEO-optimised episode pages.
* Contribute to future topic planning using social media analytics and online feedback.
Skills & Experience
* Platform Knowledge:
Confident using LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube; interest in TikTok and other emerging platforms.
- Copy & Creative:
Strong copywriting and design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- SEO & Analytics:
Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools; ability to interpret data into actionable improvements.
- AI Skills:
Ability to use AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity while maintaining originality and critical thinking.
- EDI Awareness:
Interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion topics, especially in a UK leadership context.
- Organisation & Initiative:
Able to manage deadlines, juggle multiple content streams, and proactively test new ideas.
