Field Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Hours: Full time, Shift Pattern - 5 days - (Monday to Saturday 9am - 5.30pm )
Salary: £30,000 plus Company Van

Key Responsibilities
We're looking for Home Serie Field Engineers who will be focused on ensuring that our retail broadband customers are receiving the best possible quality experience from their Youfibre Broadband.
The right candidate will be someone who understands the technical challenges involved in residential broadband, especially in-home WIFI and good at troubleshooting.
The engineer must be presentable, polite and someone who thrives on providing the best possible customer experience
Experience in running and terminating/splicing copper or fibre optic cabling would be required.
The right candidate will be happy working in what is an extremely varied role, and needs to be someone who can thrive in an unstructured environment.
The right candidate also needs to be comfortable driving around their local area to go to customer service visits. These may not always be in their local town/city.
You will work 5 days (40hrs total) per week.
Resolve home connectivity problems for customers whilst being engaging and polite.
Ensure that customer feedback from engineering visits is 5* whenever possible.
Ensure compliance with health and safety and operational requirements in line with best practice and legal frameworks.
Be pro-active, and able to manage your own workload without much oversight from management.
Be willing to step in and lead from the front and do whatever it takes to provide customers the best possible experience.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Experience working with residential home broadband or similar at an ISP
Networking experience - in-home installs/fault resolution
Knowledge of health and safety and industry specific legislative requirements
Desire to work in an agile, start-up environment and go the 'extra mile' to support our delivery of a great customer experience. Be a self-starter
