Overview
We’re looking for a personable, detail-focused Commercial Account Handler to join the team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted advisor to existing clients - offering expert insurance advice, identifying opportunities to enhance their cover, and making sure they receive the highest standard of service.
What you’ll be doing
* Building strong, long-term client relationships
* Advising on insurance needs and spotting gaps in cover
* Introducing new products to existing clients where they add value
* Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms
* Supporting clients with claims, alongside the wider team
* Using systems like Acturis, Excel, and Outlook to manage client accounts efficiently
* Proactively seeking ways to improve processes and client experience
What you’ll bring
* Experience in commercial insurance (Property, Liability, Professional Indemnity)
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* A proactive, organised, and client-first mindset
* Confidence in relationship management and negotiation
* Knowledge of FCA compliance and insurance market appetite
