Responsible to HeadBaker
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bakehouse. This role is ideal for someone with strong baking experience who is ready to take on a lead role, ensuring Creative Gardens high-quality products are consistently produced while working for the head baker and also supporting the wider bakehouseteam.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Helps leadday-to-day bakingtasks as per production listand instruction from head baker
* Mixing doughs, batters, and pastry
* Helps with ovenmanagement and baking schedules
* Supporting the Head Baker
* Training morejunior staff
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a professional bakery environment
* Strong knowledge of bread, pastry, dessertsand cake production
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
* Available to work 5 days per week, approx. 40 hours
* Formal baking or culinary qualification
* Experience using commercial bakery equipment
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP)
* Passion for baking and the Creative Gardens Food Co brand
