LHH are pleased to be instructed by an established international recruitment business recognised for its specialism in the engineering sector. With a growing global network, this organisation partners with organisations to connect skilled talent with critical projects and roles around the world, particularly within energy, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing fields.
Following the appointment of a new Head of Legal, the in-house legal team have undergone some transformative changes, and are now looking to bolster the team with the appointment of a Legal Counsel.
You'll look to:
1. Provide tailored and bespoke advice to internal stakeholders in relation to a variety of commercial and employment matters across the UK and Europe.
2. Review, draft and negotiate a range of commercial and legal matters with clients, contractors and suppliers, amongst other stakeholders.
3. Support in project-related matters, working closely with the Compliance Manager to advise on legal risk and employment issues surrounding workforce and staffing solutions.
We're looking for qualified solicitors (or equivalent) from NQ - 2 years PQE (although we would consider those outside). Background is fairly open - ideally you will have had experience in both commercial contracts drafting/negotiating and employment law. However, lawyers who have experience in either commercial or employment would still be an excellent fit for the role, so long as there is curiosity to develop and broaden your skillset.
The team are based in central Manchester and have two anchor days per week, with the third being at your discretion. Salary is commensurate with the NW market rate plus a fair benefits package.
