About the role
Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People (HCC SfYP) is recruiting a Project Officer to work closely with the Area Service Managers in the planning and delivery of high-quality work and support for young people across the south and west of the county.
We highly value strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills will be essential to this role to build positive and productive relationships with colleagues across our teams, the wider Children’s Services department, as well as with stakeholders and partners. A proactive and responsive approach to queries and requests will be greatly appreciated
Good ICT skills are essential including a working knowledge of social media. This role will suit organised individuals who enjoy a diverse workload, working to deadlines and taking on new challenges.
The postholder have the ability to produce well-structured reports and presentations, highlighting issues and recommendations as directed. The ability to manage and oversee the allocation of funds relating to identified projects and report on spend against budget is important.
The postholder will also research, analyse and present information to provide input into wider project objectives. You will analyse, interpret and report on data to support and improve the delivery of services to young people.
