Position Summary
The Delivery Driver Lead is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery drivers and their operations. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a liaison between long-term care facilities and delivery staff. You will train all transport personnel.
In This Role You Will
* Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes.
* Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends.
* Review and set standards for staff.
* Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products, and supplies into long-term care facilities or patients’ homes, as needed.
* Conduct routine staff meetings.
Key Responsibilities
* Train all transportation personnel.
* Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes.
* Monitor work flow, analyze patterns and trends.
* Conduct routine staff meetings.
* Respect patient privacy, confidentiality, and security of information and property.
* Ensure all shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely.
* Perform physical inventories.
* Sort all baskets according to facility units, location, and delivery times.
* Scan all medication pending delivery.
* Prepare manifests and paperwork for nursing facilities.
* Retrieve medication totes from pharmacists for scanning and delivery.
* Check bins before departure for missed meds.
* Assist pharmacy floor during downtime.
* Scan manifests into system for confirmation of delivery.
* Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including HIPAA and DOT.
* Maintain professional and ethical standards and uphold patient confidentiality.
* Other duties as assigned, which may vary by location.
Required Qualifications
* Valid driver’s license in good standing and a clean driving record.
* Ability to use routing software (if applicable).
* Ability to drive a standard transmission if necessary.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Strong concentration and communication skills.
* Ability to perform math calculations relevant to the role.
* Customer service orientation.

Additional Details
* Anticipated weekly hours: 40.
* Employment type: Full-time.
* Pay range: $18.50 - $38.82 per hour, depending on experience and location.
