Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the Line Lead is responsible for ensuring production lines perform in line with plant goals, safety standards, World Class Manufacturing principles, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The role emphasizes people engagement and participation in Continuous Improvement projects, leading by example.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, with overtime as scheduled
Compensation: $26.27 per hour
Job Description:
Safety (10%)
* Follow all safety rules and policies.
* Lead safety initiatives and evaluate workplace safety concerns.
Quality (15%)
* Adhere to SOPs and monitor product quality.
* Use Continuous Improvement tools to resolve issues.
Production Processes and Housekeeping (30%)
* Track metrics, minimize process waste, maintain good housekeeping, and support equipment maintenance and improvements.
Equipment (10%)
* Perform Autonomous Maintenance and maintain tools and equipment.
Leadership (30%)
* Provide guidance on processes and equipment, train operators, monitor performance, and ensure production schedules are met.
Other Duties (5%)
* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, assist team members, and perform additional duties as needed.
