We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our Reservations team. This role involves handling inbound and outbound sales enquiries, supporting a range of global travel products and delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will manage customer bookings through to completion and play a key role in sales, support and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer inbound calls for a variety of travel revenue streams around the world.
* Support luxury and non-luxury online travel agency sites.
* Provide first call resolution on all calls.
* Action rebooks on existing bookings impacted by supplier cancellations.
* Manage customer bookings from initial enquiry through to completion.
* Provide documentation and itineraries for high end customers.
* Assist crisis management team on impacted bookings.
* Offer sales feedback to product and marketing team.
* Outbound calls to potential leads who have purchased a gift card.
* Outbound calls to potential leads who have an expiring grant.
What we're looking for:
* Previous sales experience within a travel agency or call centre environment (preferred)
* Understanding of UK travel practices and seasonal demands (preferred but not essential)
* Experience using Galileo (preferred)
* Experience using Dolphin (preferred)
* Knowledge of dynamic packaging (airlines, ground handlers, and hotels) is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and confident manner
