Job Description
As a Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:
* Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors including 1:1s to discuss performance vs expectation, identify SMART goals when performance is not met in any of the key functional areas within responsibility.
* Work with the Section Manager for your department to monitor delivery to plan and identify improvement areas for your shift.
* Drive performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full.
* Maintain high safety standards on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to safety routines/procedures (e.g., Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits).
* Review weekly labour plan to ensure adequate cover, sharing with the Section Manager and highlighting issues/feedback.
* Provide detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and create a plan to bridge the gap.
* Partner with other key stakeholders with the Warehouse Leadership team to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
* Support the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.

* Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain
* High potential for people and change management
