The Job you’ll do * As Machine Shop Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Machine Shop, ensuring output, quality and safety standards are achieved. * This role focuses on delivering operational performance through strong leadership, effective resource management and the embedding of an SQCDP and continuous improvement culture. * Deliver safe, efficient and high-performing Machine Shop operations. * Achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost. * Develop and lead a capable, engaged team. * Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. * Lead daily Machine Shop activities to meet production schedules over three shifts. * Drive SQCDP culture and lead daily performance reviews. * Monitor and improve OEE and operational metrics. * Ensure effective shift handovers and issue resolution. * Work closely with Planning and Engineering to resolve production challenges. * Lead, motivate and develop the Machine Shop team. * Manage performance, attendance and conduct in line with company procedures. * Identify training needs and support skills development. * Promote accountability and a positive team culture. * Ensure compliance with quality standards, ...
