Our client is a Market Leader who attracting private equity investment, enabling them to move from the traditional partnership model to a corporate structure, creating a clear separation between management/ownership and fee earners.We are now seeking a talented individual to join our busy finance team in Stoke as a Purchase Ledger Assistant.Responsibilities
1. Accurately processing and coding invoices to the correct nominal codes and office.
2. Processing invoices to the correct client accounts.
3. Processing and checking staff expenses.
4. Setting up new supplier accounts and verifying bank details.
5. Reconciliation of supplier statements.
6. Resolving invoice queries.
7. Posting direct debits.
8. Assisting with the preparation of regular payment runs.
9. Managing your own and the purchase ledger email inbox; and
Skills and experience:
10. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a purchase ledger role.
11. SAGE (Concur is desirable but not essential if you have a good SAGE)
12. Working in an open plan workspace at a fast pace
13. Strong people skills.
14. Ability to resolve queries independently.
15. Good Microsoft/Excel skills.
16. Exceptional diligence.
17. Good organisational and time management skills to ensure adherence to tight deadlines.
18. Ability to work as part of a busy, fast-paced team; and
19. Able to build good working relationships within the finance team and across the business at all levels.
