Major recruitment are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our internal sales and customer department.

This role ensures the team consistently meets company standards, policies, and best practices. You will manage customer sales processes from start to finish, including negotiating service agreements and pricing, while ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

As a key point of contact, you will handle inquiries related to products, orders, and deliveries, while also providing essential support to the sales representatives and internal sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Internal Sales Team.

Ensure sales documentation is accurate, up to date, and maintained to a high standard.

Produce and deliver regular performance and progress reports.

Contribute to the growth and development of the business.

Foster strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

Act as a proactive point of contact for customers, building and maintaining excellent relationships.

Collaborate with multiple departments, including Planning and other divisions within the wider group.

Occasionally travel within the UK and Europe.

Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001).

Uphold requirements for FSC controlled wood, PEFC chain of custody, and RSB Advanced Products.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales administration or similar role (essential).

Ideally educated to A-level standard or above.

Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Flexible mindset with a professional, solutions-driven approach.

Proven ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution.

Experience in importing and exporting activities.

Confident in working with numeric data.

Additional language skills would be advantageous.

Previous experience with business systems and CRM software is beneficial.

Salary: £35,000 per year
