The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3–4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience
* Deliver engaging lessons that develop computational thinking, programming skills and digital literacy
* Inspire students to explore the wider impact of technology in society and the modern workplace
* Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities
* Assess student progress effectively and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations and coursework components
* Contribute to the continued development of the Computer Science curriculum and digital learning initiatives
* Support enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, STEM events, robotics activities or digital competitions
* Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring where required

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge, including programming and computing principles

* Maintains high expectations for both academic achievement and behaviour
* Is reflective and committed to continuous professional development
* Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive teaching team
