Competitive salary with excellent benefits & work / life balance
The Company
You’ll be joining an award-winning, Top 10 AJ100 architectural practice with a strong UK-wide footprint and a reputation for combining design excellence with delivery and commercial insight.

Within the practice, healthcare is a strategic growth area. The team is known for a listening-led approach, developing bespoke solutions for clinicians, patients and communities, underpinned by strong knowledge of NHS guidance, best practice and current sector trends.
The Role
As a Healthcare Architect in the London studio, you’ll play a key role in a growing team delivering healthcare and health-adjacent projects, ranging from primary care and community facilities through to more complex clinical environments. You’ll contribute from early briefing and concept design through to technical delivery, collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues and external stakeholders.
This is a genuine opportunity to join a healthcare team with momentum, where you can take meaningful ownership, strengthen your sector specialism, and progress within a practice investing in both people and long-term growth.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
* ARB registration (or actively working towards Part 3 with strong UK project experience)
* Proven experience delivering healthcare / clinical / health-adjacent projects (e.g., primary care, community hubs, diagnostics, outpatient, mental health, care environments), ideally across multiple RIBA stages
* Strong understanding of designing for patient experience and operational excellence (flow, privacy, wayfinding, staff/patient separation, stakeholder needs)
* Confidence in stakeholder engagement, especially where end users include clinicians, estates teams and community groups
* BIM capability (Revit preferred) and experience coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams
* A detail-focused approach with the ability to balance design ambition with compliance and buildability within a studio culture that values delivery and viability alongside creativity
* Clear communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute positively to a supportive studio environment
What You’ll Get in Return
In return, you’ll join a practice that actively invests in its people and culture offering:
* A role within a Top 10 AJ100 practice with clear momentum and a strong pipeline
* A collaborative environment where colleagues support each other and share ideas freely
* Ongoing training, mentoring and development, including structured support and opportunities to broaden your experience across sectors and project stages
* A wellbeing culture supported by Mental Health First Aiders and an Employee Assistance Programme
* The chance to get involved in meaningful CSR, volunteering, fundraising and even pro bono design work for charities
* The satisfaction of working on projects that directly improve lives, helping create healthcare environments designed around people, outcomes and long-term value
