Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Salary and Hours
* Salary: Up to £60,000
* Hours: 7am/8am start, finishing at 4pm/5pm Monday to Thursday, and 12:00 on Fridays
Holidays and Benefits
* Holidays: 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year including bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 1 year of continuous service
* Benefits: Occupational Sick Pay, death in service x2 salary, pension scheme
Overview
Working within a first-class precision engineering business that manufactures components using methods such as CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, and Fabrication, we now require a Supply Chain Manager to lead, own, and develop the customer and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the main point of contact for all customers and their order book demands
2. Monitor and manage the sales order books
3. Identify any order book movements that could lead to obsolete stock/materials
4. Work closely with Manufacturing Managers to address delivery issues promptly
5. Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to improve service quality
6. Manage the day-to-day supplier relationships and operational performance of the supply base
7. Implement and oversee category/supplier strategies based on supply chain performance
8. Create a high-performance culture through effective team development and performance management
9. Support supply chain audits and risk management practices to mitigate risks
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate may have some of the following, but all applications are considered individually:
* Experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or similar
* Previous leadership or management experience in a supply chain role
Location
Commutable from: Castle Donington, Derby, Loughborough, Long Eaton, and surrounding areas
