Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic Printer / Print Finisher to join our busy production team. The successful candidate will assist with setting up and running digital print jobs across small and large format machines, as well as performing a variety of print finishing tasks. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Full training will be provided, but prior experience in a print production environment is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Print Operation:
* Set up and run print jobs using digital and wide format printers
* Ensure print quality meets required standards before and during production
* Monitor and maintain equipment performance and cleanliness
Print Finishing:
* Operate print finishing equipment including creasers, folders, laminators, and perforators
* Complete large format finishing tasks including banner building, vinyl mounting to board, trimming, and eyeletting
* Ensure all jobs are finished to a high standard and within required deadlines
Packaging and Dispatch:
* Package completed jobs carefully and appropriately for delivery
* Prepare orders for dispatch via courier or collection, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation
General Duties:
* Maintain a tidy and organised workspace
* Assist with stock control and material handling as required
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers regarding job progress or issues

* Willingness to learn and take on new tasks – full training will be given
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
* High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
* Basic computer skills
* Previous experience in a print or production environment is a benefit, but not essential
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
