Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will be the subject matter expert of your portfolio. With support from the Head of Product Management, you will build the strategic direction for your portfolio, and drive this forward with tactical planning in coordination with our in-house Marketing team. The role involves writing copy, planning adverts, attending exhibitions, and coordinating wider strategy with other Product Managers to maximise solution-based approaches. Actively researching and reviewing online material to provide market insight to our Marketing and Sales team to drive sales and profitability.
This diverse role requires attention to detail and operational awareness: you will be responsible for stock levels, working with manufacturers to inform their production schedules, and provide forecasting. You will provide technical and application support for your products to users and internal stakeholders, often providing tailored services to support their specific requirements. Using a consultative approach, you will work with various stakeholders to build a solution to meet their needs, whether this is within the NHS, Private Healthcare Services, Research, or Academia.
You will work closely with your product suppliers and manufacturers to ensure continued regulatory compliance, and suitability of your products within NHS and other national healthcare standards. You will be the primary point of contact for your suppliers, providing strategy updates, forecasts, and marketing direction.
In summary, this role is multifaceted and encourages visibility of the portfolio at various stages throughout the product lifecycle and customer journey.
Qualifications & Key Skills
* BSc (or higher) in relevant science sector,
* 2+ years of Product Management experience, within the science or healthcare sector,
* 2+ years of Marketing experience, within the science or healthcare sector,
* Strong communictaion skills, confident discussing products with KOLs,
* Professional Product Management, Project Management, or Marketing qualification would be a plus.
Requirements
* UK Driving Licence,
* Willing to travel, including internationally,
* Willing to commute to Eastleigh HQ at least twice per week,
* Authorised to work in the UK.
