Overview
Theatre Practitioner (ODP/Registered Nurse) - Gynae Theatres at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).
We are looking for an ODP/RN to join our team in Urology and Gynaecology theatres. The successful candidate will work as part of a cohesive, friendly and supportive team and will have the opportunity to work within Robotic theatres and contribute to developing innovative new Gynaecological surgical procedures. The role supports a one team ethos with a good working relationship between surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre staff.
The post holder will deliver excellent patient-centred care on the peri-operative pathway and will be a competent member of the team, supporting the philosophy of multi-skilling and integration of theatre personnel. You will be an accountable practitioner, maintaining and improving knowledge and professional competence in all aspects of peri-operative care.

Responsibilities
* Provide peri-operative care as a competent member of the theatre team in Urology and Gynaecology settings, with opportunities to work in Robotic theatres.
* Support the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare always acting as a role model for PRIDE values.
* Contribute to the development of innovative gynecological surgical procedures and practice through collaboration with surgeons and anaesthetists.
* Engage in multi-skilling and integration of theatre personnel to support efficient theatre services.
* Continually sustain and improve knowledge and professional competence in peri-operative care.
Qualifications and Requirements
* OCED/Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
* Commitment to patient-centred care and safe peri-operative practice.
* Ability to work within a team and across disciplines in a fast-paced theatre environment.
