Quality Control Inspector
Near Ilfracombe, North Devon | Up to £17 per hour DOE | 4-Day Week | Permanent
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is working with a respected and flexible local engineering business to recruit a Quality Control Inspector.
This permanent opportunity offers a 4-day working week consisting of four 10-hour day shifts, allowing you to enjoy a 3-day weekend every week. The company operates within the Aerospace and Medical sectors and prides itself on being a supportive, family-run business where you are valued as an individual.
Key Duties
* Carry out mechanical inspection of precision-engineered components.
* Perform in-process inspection activities.
* Support First Article Inspection processes (where applicable).
* Operate CMM equipment (desirable).
* Undertake general machine operation duties, including CNC where required.
* Ensure all products meet strict Aerospace and Medical quality standards.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical inspection experience.
* Previous experience within Aerospace or Medical manufacturing (preferred).
* First Article Inspection knowledge (desirable).
* CMM experience (desirable).
* In-process inspection experience.
* General machine operation skills, CNC experience advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
