Role Purpose
Responsible for leading a team of Key Account Managers and Account Managers to deliver commercial performance across the wholesale channel. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Delivering and executing the UK ROI wholesale plan and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Key Account Managers and Account Managers.
* Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards aligned with business goals.
* Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture within the team.
* Commercial Delivery
* Own and deliver the wholesale sales targets for the UK & ROI.
* Monitor and manage account performance, ensuring profitability and growth.
* Support the forecasting and budgeting process for the wholesale channel.
* Customer & Account Management
* Oversee the management of key wholesale accounts, ensuring strong relationships and service levels.
* Support the team in negotiations, joint business planning, and promotional execution.
* Act as an escalation point for key customer issues.
* New Business Development
* Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities in line with brand and commercial priorities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, supply chain, finance) to support onboarding and integration of new accounts.
* Operational Excellence
* Ensure accurate reporting, pipeline management, and CRM usage across the team.
* Drive continuous improvement in ways of working, processes, and customer engagement.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in wholesale account management or sales leadership, with experience of fashion/ footwear / lifestyle brands
* Strong people management skills with experience leading and developing teams.
* Commercially astute with a track record of delivering against financial targets.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience working across both UK and ROI markets.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Exposure to new business development and customer acquisition
