NHS 24 Cardonald & Dundee Regional Centres
NHS 24 are recruiting for PWP's to join our Regional Centres in Cardonald (Glasgow) and Dundee. We are holding events on the dates below:
* Wednesday 28th May at 18:30 on MS Teams
* Friday 30th May at 18:00 in our Cardonald Centre
Spaces are limited. Book now before May 28th at 3pm: e/YE6EBRxtTW. The sessions last approximately 90 minutes, providing info about the role, organization, and Q&A with staff. Role Overview:
Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners provide brief assessments and interventions for mental health concerns via telephone, supporting crisis de-escalation and emotional regulation, empowering patients and families.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting mental wellbeing
* Promoting positive mental health using behavioral techniques
* Working within a healthcare team
* Handling diverse mental health calls with cultural sensitivity
* Conducting mental health triage assessments
* Undertaking clinical risk assessments
* Staying updated on relevant legislation and policies
* Ensuring interventions meet high standards based on evidence
Candidate Requirements:
* Graduate qualification or relevant experience
* Experience in mental health and wellbeing practice
* Knowledge of psychological therapies
* Assessment and care planning skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* Organizational skills for complex information
Salary and Benefits:
Band 5, £31,892 - £39,735 (pro rata for part-time), with hourly rates increasing on weekends and holidays. Benefits include a comprehensive package and a permanent contract.
