The role
As our Compliance Administrator you’ll be working within our busy development team, supporting the Programme Manager to maintain and upkeep our development system and processes and procedures, with a focus on ensuring our grant funded schemes are compliant. You’ll be carrying out administration work, collating and inputting information into databases to maintain integrity and regulatory compliance. Keen to grow your knowledge, you’ll take every opportunity to learn more about the affordable homes programme to use when completing audit checks for Homes England and Greater London Authority funded schemes. Lots of your work will be data focussed, ensuring our data is up to date and maintained, which will involve collaborating with colleagues in the wider development team. You’ll be integral to our systems first approach to development processes and will be assisting the team to adopt and learn new and existing systems. About you You’ll be organised with the ability to juggle a fluctuating workload and conflicting priorities. You’ll have a keen eye for data and processes with the ability to adopt new systems quickly. Attention to detail is crucial, especially for ensuring compliance in grant-funded audits. You’ll be confident communicating to the business and liaising with a variety of stakeholders both verbally and in writing and be a team player who is keen to identify and address issues head on. If you have some knowledge of development processes and grant funding requirements, fantastic! If not, don’t worry, we’ll tell you everything you need to know. Your enthusiasm for learning about affordable housing will drive you to ask questions and seek out new knowledge. You’ll be using IT daily, so being a confident user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel with its formulas and pivot tables, is essential. We embrace flexible working, so you’ll thrive as an independent worker and thinker and be self-motivated in your approach to tasks. Occasionally, you'll need to visit the office for team meetings and collaborative projects. Ideally, you'll have a full UK driving licence and be located within our operating region to attend our offices in Frome, Andover, and Devizes, as well as other locations when necessary.
