A leading utilities contractor, operating on behalf of one of the UK’s major water companies, is currently seeking a skilled Leakage Technician to join their team on the Essex & Suffolk Water Framework.
This is a contract role running until the end of December 2025 (with a likely extension), offering an excellent opportunity for experienced leakage professionals to support ongoing efforts in reducing water loss across the region.
Role Overview:
You'll work across Essex and Suffolk conducting leak detection activities on the clean water network. Responsibilities will include step testing, sounding, correlating, and the use of acoustic loggers. This role is field-based and will require flexibility to travel between multiple sites within the framework area.
Location:
Field-based – covering locations across Essex and Suffolk. A vehicle and fuel card can be provided, or mileage reimbursed depending on setup.

Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in leak detection within a water network environment
* Strong knowledge of leakage detection techniques and equipment

* NRSWA or Water Hygiene certifications desirable but not essential
