A well-established security and technical services provider in North London is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee engineering and service delivery operations and drive improvements in operational performance across the business.
The company operates within the electronic security sector, delivering CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems to a diverse client base. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a hands-on operational leader who can bring structure, improve workflow coordination, and ensure consistent service delivery across engineering teams.
This role is purely operational, focused on delivery, efficiency, and team performance rather than financial governance or P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day operations across engineering and service delivery teams
2. Ensure consistent and high-quality installation, maintenance, and service delivery
3. Improve operational processes, workflow, and team coordination
4. Monitor delivery KPIs and drive performance improvements
5. Strengthen operational discipline, accountability, and efficiency
6. Support operational planning across engineering and support teams
Candidate Profile:
We are specifically looking for candidates from within the electronic security sector, ideally with experience in:
7. CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems
8. Security installation and maintenance operations
9. Managing engineering or field service teams
You will likely currently be working as an Operations Manager, Service Manager, or Engineering Manager within a security systems environment and be comfortable operating in a hands-on SME business.
Package:
10. £60,000 – £80,000 salary depending on experience
11. Discretionary performance bonus linked to business performance
