NEC Project Planner
Work Style: Fully office based
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £40,000 per annum + Benefits

Level of Clearance Required: Existing SC advantageous, DV Desired
Brief Summary of the Role
Our client is searching for a motivated Junior Planner to join a major infrastructure/construction programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with planning experience looking to develop their career within project controls, scheduling, and programme management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Record site activities and progress, updating project schedules accordingly
* Prepare and maintain logically linked schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
* Produce schedule updates, forecasts, S-curves and logic traces
* Support Senior Planners with tender programmes aligned to NEC contracts
* Monitor schedule changes and ensure alignment with project objectives
* Prepare clear reports for progress reviews and stakeholder meetings
* Identify and communicate schedule risks, delays and critical activities
* Support procurement planning and monitor delivery dates
* Track resource utilisation and associated costs
* Assist with Earned Value Management, trend analysis and project controls activities
* Support risk identification and mitigation workshops
* Maintain accurate programme information for subcontractors and suppliers
Skillset / Experience Required:
* 3–5 years’ experience within construction, infrastructure or civils sectors
* Experience using Primavera P6 and MS Project
* Understanding of programme creation, implementation and control
* Knowledge of critical path analysis & Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Familiarity with NEC contracts
* Good understanding of project controls / EVM principles
* Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Motivated to progress professionally
* Experience in safety-critical environments advantageous
* Existing SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
