Unlike online travel platforms, they offer face-to-face, video, and phone appointments, ensuring every customer speaks to a real, experienced travel expert. The Role As a Worldwide Travel Specialist, you wonʼt just be booking holidays – you will be crafting experiences that customers rave about for years. You will need to be versatile, curious, and committed to going beyond the obvious to deliver the best. Key Responsibilities: Think beyond the basics and research and create unique travel experiences tailored to each customer. Provide exceptional customer service via face-to-face, phone, and video consultations. Use your expert travel knowledge to offer honest, tailored recommendations. Build long-term customer relationships, ensuring repeat bookings and referrals. Handle all aspects of bookings, including flights, accommodation, transfers, excursions, and added-value extras (e.g. restaurant bookings), using multiple booking platforms and liaising with contacts in different countries to coordinate logistics and resolve queries. Solve problems quickly and creatively, ensuring smooth travel experiences for clients. Keep up to date with industry trends, supplier offers, and travel regulations. Work towards sales targets and commission goals, while always prioritising service quality Maintain accuracy in quotes, bookings, and documentation. Occasionally host our stand at trade shows / attend events on behalf of the client Attend occasional overseas familiarisation trips to gain first-hand destination knowledge and strengthen supplier relationships. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in the travel industry OR strong sales experience with a passion for travel. First-hand travel experience – a deep understanding of destinations and logistics. Fantastic problem-solving skills – ability to research, analyse options, and find the best solutions. Excellent communication skills – confident dealing with customers and suppliers. Ability to multitask and adapt quickly – juggling multiple bookings and customer requests. A drive to go beyond standard options – curiosity and attention to detail. Energy and self-motivation – proactive, driven, and excited about travel. IT proficiency – comfortable using booking systems and online research tools. Desirable: Experience in customer-facing sales roles. Knowledge of conflict resolution and handling customer complaints. Familiarity with luxury or bespoke travel. Background in corporate travel, high-end hospitality, or tour operations.
