Role Profile
The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing and supplier management activities for supplier contracts across the organisation. We are looking for someone who is commercially astute with advanced negotiation skills and experienced in contracting models and agreements. This role will ensure that the ICAEW suppliers deliver quality and value aligning to our own values and commitments to our members. The Senior Procurement Manager will have the opportunity to impact best practice procurement, provide expertise and contribute to the success of ICAEW.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic procurement expertise
* Review and identify opportunities in the non‑technology spend categories to develop and maintain the category plan
* Manage RFXs from strategic planning to contract completion
* Identify and manage key suppliers mitigating risks, understand market trends and monitor supplier performance
* Segment and manage ongoing supplier relationship management
Candidate Profile
Requirements include:
* Advanced procurement S2P experience
* Experience with commercial contract negotiation
* Proficiency in complex contracts with a good understanding of the S2P lifecycle
* Strong background in supplier management experience
* Excellent organisational, analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
* Strong communication abilities to engage stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
