Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Hardware Asset Management Analyst to join our team. This position will play a key role in expanding the scope and maturity of our hardware asset management (HAM) program, with hands-on responsibilities in the UK and coordination responsibilities globally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing international hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, on-premises servers (physical and virtual), and mobile devices.
* Overseeing international inventory management, including managing onsite and offsite inventory and stock rooms in the UK, and collaborating with global points of contact to ensure standard processes and audits.
* Handling international disposal management, including UK-based disposal processes and coordination with international contacts.
Must Haves:
* Experience with hardware asset management involving desktops, laptops, on-premise servers (physical and virtual via VMWare), and mobile devices.
* Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
* Proven ability to develop, improve, and implement international hardware asset management processes, policies, and procedures integrating people, process, and technology.
* Hands-on experience conducting physical hardware audits, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and providing actionable recommendations.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in asset management.
* Experience managing onsite and offsite hardware inventories and peripherals.
* Experience managing hardware disposal processes in compliance with standards.
