Prospero Teaching are looking for a talented Year 6 booster teacher to join our client Primary School based in Waterlooville (PO7).
We’re seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher who excels at nurturing academic, emotional, and social growth in students. Your excellent interpersonal skills, comprehensive knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum-particularly the upper Key Stage-and your ability to identify and bridge gaps in pupils’ knowledge are essential.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location: Waterlooville (PO7)
2. Position: Year 6 Booster Teacher
3. Type of work: Class Teacher, including planning, preparation, marking, and attending parents’ evenings
4. Contract start date: ASAP
5. Contract type: Ongoing
6. Full time/part time: Part Time (mornings only) and Full time options available
7. Rate of pay: Main Payscale / Upper Payscale
8. Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
10. Experience Teaching Key Stage 2
11. Up-to-date Safeguarding training completed within the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
12. Have the Right to Work in the UK
13. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one
14. Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
