▌ The Role
They are now seeking a commercially minded Senior Growth Marketing Manager to join the team in a long-term, embedded role. Over the next three to four years, this person will work closely with the Marketing Director and senior stakeholders to build a deep understanding of the business, its clients and what truly drives lifetime value — from what attracts clients to book, through to what supports retention, repeat business and referral.
THIS IS NOT A STANDARD DAY-TO-DAY MARKETING LEADERSHIP ROLE.
It is not a hands-on channel execution position, and it is not a people-management role. Agencies and specialist teams already manage paid media and tactical delivery. Your role is to zoom out, analyse performance, connect insight across the business and help define where focus, effort and investment will make the biggest difference over time. Critically, this means working across Sales and Client Experience — not just marketing. When data surfaces an opportunity, the question isn’t just which campaign to run. It’s what needs to change across the entire customer journey, and how to bring other functions along with you.
While this is a strategic role, it is also a hands-on one in terms of ownership and accountability. You will be expected to turn insight into action and support delivery through collaboration — not sit in a purely consultative capacity. And you will need to bring people with you: explaining your thought process, walking stakeholders through the reasoning behind your recommendations, and making it easy for others to follow and act on your conclusions.
- Develop a deep understanding of client behaviour, booking patterns and long-term value across the business
- Identify and shape growth initiatives that improve acquisition efficiency and customer lifetime value
- Help define what attracts, converts, retains and drives repeat and referral for the brand
- Provide clear performance insight, commercial analysis and forecasts to senior leadership
- Support segmentation and positioning decisions in collaboration with Sales and Product teams
- Guide the evolution of paid media and wider acquisition strategy — without hands-on execution
- Align brand, content and digital experience with growth priorities across the customer journey
- Partner with internal and group digital teams to optimise priority initiatives and projects
- Champion commercially driven, long-term thinking across the organisation
▌ Experience Required
- Proven experience in a growth-focused, commercially minded senior role — with a clear track record of helping a business understand what drives long-term value, not just short-term acquisition
- Strong commercial mindset, with practical experience using metrics such as CAC and LTV to guide decision-making and prioritisation
- A track record of working across Sales, Product and Customer Experience — not just marketing — to turn data-led insight into changes that improve the whole customer journey, not just top-of-funnel activity
- Confident operating autonomously as a senior individual contributor, taking ownership and accountability for outcomes
- Naturally analytical and curious, with the confidence to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions using insight and data
- Able to clearly explain the thinking behind your decisions — not just the outcome. In this role, being able to walk stakeholders through your reasoning, what you looked at, what you prioritised and why, is as important as the quality of the work itself
- Able to balance data-led thinking with brand integrity and long-term value, particularly within a premium or luxury environment
