We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our busy Medical Records Department. The role involves scanning patient records and related documents into an electronic format, ensuring proper indexing and categorisation for easy retrieval. Responsibilities include reviewing scanned images for quality, accuracy, and legibility, and providing support and guidance on records procedures and standards, including monitoring, auditing, and rectifying errors and missing data. The ideal candidate will be organised and able to work under pressure.
The role will also include cross-cover for other areas such as Ward / Outpatient / ED reception, Outpatient Appointments, and Switchboard, with additional hours worked regularly.
Applicants should be numerate, detail-oriented, and accurate. Teamwork is essential, but initiative is also required.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 14.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
