Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Northern Ireland, specialising in the design and production of high-precision, heavy-duty machinery. They are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team and support the production of bespoke, high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances.
* Work from technical drawings and CAD models to deliver high-quality finished parts.
* Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure components meet the required specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance of machines and manage tooling requirements.
* Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
* Maintain a safe and efficient working environment at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, Operator, or Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in CNC machine setup, operation, and programming (Fanuc, Heidenhain, or similar).
* Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise tolerances.
* Knowledge of inspection tools and quality assurance processes.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
Eligibility Requirement
* Due to Home Office requirement changes, this role is strictly open only to candidates who are already based in the UK and currently hold a valid Post-Graduate Visa.

Desirable Experience
* Previous experience working on heavy-duty or industrial machinery.
* Exposure to bespoke or customised engineering projects.
* Apprenticeship or formal training in machining or mechanical engineering.
