Fidarsi is partnering with a fabulous HR team within an established Wealth Manager to recruit a Training and Competency Manager.
This role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency scheme
* Providing tools and support to ensure employees meet role requirements
* Ensuring investment managers hold appropriate qualifications for asset classes
* Managing CPD records and liaising with training bodies
* Arranging in-house training, CPD events, exams, and courses
* Maintaining regulatory and training records in the firm's systems
* Preparing and delivering annual competency assessments
* Handling regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening
* Assisting with annual appraisals for non-investment staff
* Delivering new starter induction programs
* Managing online training programs
* Providing T&C Management Information for committees
* Training department team coverage planning
* Undertaking ad hoc projects as needed
* Administering annual appraisals with the SMCR panel
* Organizing and reviewing mandatory and non-mandatory training
* Recruiting and interviewing qualified candidates
* Fostering a coaching culture
* Designing blended learning and various training interventions
* Talent management and workforce development
* Monitoring regulatory changes
* Maintaining HRIS data accuracy
* Organizing FCA training compliance
* Facilitating face-to-face classroom training
Required skills and experience:
* Ability to manage inter-departmental relationships and influence change
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations (TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, FIT)
* Experience in a similar role
